SUMMARY:Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Hall of Fame’s Woodward Theatre for a special evening of music with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band!  Doors open at 5:00 pm\, concert begins at 6:00 pm.  Bar and concessions available before and during the show. \nWith a refreshed lineup and newfound energy\, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band remains one of the most accomplished bands in American roots music. \nFollowing an extended 50th anniversary tour\, the ensemble grew to a six-piece in 2018 for the first time since their early jug band days. The group now includes Jeff Hanna (acoustic guitar\, electric guitar)\, Jimmie Fadden (drums\, harmonica)\, Bob Carpenter (keyboards)\, Jim Photoglo (bass\, acoustic guitar)\, Ross Holmes (fiddle\, mandolin)\, and Jaime Hanna (electric and acoustic guitar). All six members also sing\, and when their voices merge\, the harmonies add a powerful new component for the legendary band. And with the father-son pairing of Jeff and Jaime Hanna\, the band carries on a country music tradition of blood harmony. \nAt the peak of their country career\, the band toured Europe with Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash\, who hinted that they’d love to appear on a sequel to Will the Circle Be Unbroken\, if the band ever decided to make one. That gesture convinced the band to get back in the studio to record another all-star album. Circle Volume II featured Johnny and June\, as well as Rosanne Cash\, Emmylou Harris\, Levon Helm\, John Hiatt\, Bruce Hornsby\, John Denver\, Ricky Skaggs\, New Grass Revival\, and many other marquee names – not to mention encore performances by Roy Acuff\, Jimmy Martin\, and Earl Scruggs. Released in 1989\, the album won three Grammys and a CMA Award for Album of the Year. \nAs the country music landscape shifted toward a youth market\, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band kept on touring and recording. They played on two projects by The Chieftains\, cut a song with Karla Bonoff for an album dedicated to the 1996 Olympics\, and contributed “Maybe Baby” to a Buddy Holly tribute\, Not Fade Away. Another collaborative album\, Will the Circle Be Unbroken\, Volume III\, arrived in 2003. Soon after\, the band earned an additional Grammy for “Earl’s Breakdown\,” which they recorded with Earl Scruggs\, Randy Scruggs\, Vassar Clements and Jerry Douglas. Meanwhile\, both “Mr. Bojangles” and Will the Circle Be Unbroken were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. \nToday\, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band consists of Jeff Hanna\, Jimmie Fadden\, Bob Carpenter\, for years known as “the new guy\,” and Jim Photoglo\, a friend of the band whose credits include co-writing “Fishin’ in the Dark”\, as well as touring and recording with Carole King\, Dan Fogelberg\, and Vince Gill. Newest members Jaime Hanna and Ross Holmes also bring years of experience to the band. Hanna toured and recorded with The Mavericks and Gary Allan\, while Holmes toured and recorded with Mumford & Sons and Bruce Hornsby. \n \n GET TICKETS\n \n \n \n Play Video\n \n Play Video\n	Bundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!  Enjoy sweeping riverfront views while staying with our hotel partner.  When you bundle your tickets\, the Hampton Inn offers discounted rates for your stay.  Click the link below to book your stay.  The prices shown include two tickets to the concert.  You will receive your tickets at check-in with the hotel.  Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005 \n \n BUNDLE HOTEL & TICKETS

SUMMARY:Tommy Emmanuel with Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley
DESCRIPTION:Presented by American Patriot Getaways\n\nOn Saturday\, June 26th\, guitar master Tommy Emmanuel and bluegrass power-duo Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley will perform together live at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro\, Kentucky. \nHailing from Australia\, Emmanuel is revered world-wide for his unique finger-picking style on the acoustic guitar\, and has received praise from guitar royalty\, including Chet Atkins.  Originally a session player in many bands\, Emmanuel carved out his own style as a solo artist\, releasing award-winning albums and singles. In the May 2008 and 2010 issues of Guitar Player magazine\, he was named “Best Acoustic Guitarist” in its readers’ poll. \nJoining Emmanuel\, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley have formed a powerful duo in the bluegrass world.  Ickes\, a 15-time IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Dobro Player of the Year winner\, has been at the forefront of Dobro players for decades.  As a co-founder of the influential Blue Highway\, Ickes has been a sought-after Nashville session player and musician for decades\, with credits to his name such as Vince Gill\, Earl Scruggs\, Merle Haggard\, Alan Jackson\, Reba McEntire and Alison Krauss.  Trey Hensley is a Tennessee-born guitar prodigy who made his Grand Ole Opry debut at the age of 11 and has been called “Nashville’s hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar magazine. His soulful baritone vocals have received acclaim as well. \nHall of Fame executive director Chris Joslin commented\, “C.P.G. stands for Certified Guitar Player. The great Chet Atkins created this designation and handed the title out to just four musicians.  Tommy Emmanuel is one of them. He is simply a phenomenal artist\, and I can’t wait to hear him collaborate with Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley. We are preparing for an incredible night of music at the Hall of Fame June 26.” \nTickets are on sale now.  Reserved seating tickets are $42.50.  Tickets can be purchased online\, in person at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum\, or by calling 270-926-7891 Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.  The museum and lobby will be open until show time\, at 8 pm.  Bar and concessions will open at 7 pm. \n \n GET TICKETS\n \n \n \n \n	Bundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!  Enjoy sweeping riverfront views while staying with our hotel partner.  When you bundle your tickets\, the Hampton Inn offers discounted rates for your stay.  Click the link below to book your stay.  The prices shown include two tickets to the concert.  Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005 \n \n BUNDLE HOTEL & TICKETS

SUMMARY:The Nashville Songwriter presented by Jagoe Homes
