SUMMARY:Steve Earle
DESCRIPTION:Join us on August 19\, 2023\, for Steve Earle at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. \nTickets are on sale now.  Preferred seating is $58\, and reserved seating is $42 \nSteve Earle is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protege of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark\, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right\, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash\, Waylon Jennings\, Joan Baez\, Emmylou Harris\, The Pretenders\, and countless others. 1986 saw the release of his record\, Guitar Town\, which shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Subsequent releases like The Revolution Starts…Now (2004)\, Washington Square Serenade (2007)\, and TOWNES (2009) received consecutive GRAMMY® Awards. Restlessly creative across artistic disciplines\, Earle has published both a novel and collection of short stories; produced albums for other artists such as Joan Baez and Lucinda Williams\, and acted in films\, television (including David Simon’s acclaimed The Wire)\, and on the stage. In 2009\, Earle  appeared in the off-Broadway play Samara\, for which he also wrote a score that The New York Times described as “exquisitely subliminal.” Earle wrote music for and appeared in Coal Country\, a riveting Public Theater play that dives into the most-deadly mining disaster in U.S. history\, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. Mr. Earle was recently inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. \n GET TICKETS \nBundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!  Enjoy sweeping riverfront views while staying with our hotel partner.  When you bundle your tickets\, the Hampton Inn offers discounted rates for your stay.  The price includes two tickets to the concert\, and the tickets are located in row H.  You will receive your tickets at check-in with the hotel.  Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005

Bar and concessions available. \nMasterful country music stylist\, Gene Watson\, from Houston\, Texas has been thrilling audiences for more than 60 years. The depth of emotion in his singing\, his brilliant phrasing\, his jaw-dropping range and the power in the lyrics he chooses are all factors in the awe he inspires in both fans and his musical peers. A proud member of the Grand Ole Opry\, Gene Watson’s tally of 75 charted titles\, 23 top-10 hits and 11 number-one singles (6 country #1s/5 Gospel #1s) has also led to membership in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and the Houston Music Hall of Fame. Radio listeners are still transfixed whenever classics like “Farewell Party\,”  “Fourteen Carat Mind” or “Love in the Hot Afternoon” are played. Watson is one of the rare singers who still sings in the same key as he did 30 years ago and his audiences respond with standing ovations night after night when he nails the octave jumping last note on his most requested song\, the now country classic “Farewell Party.” Considered one of the finest pure-country singers of his generation and known as “The Singer’s Singer\,” Watson offers up one of the best traditional country shows in the business. SUMMARY:Sister Sadie
DESCRIPTION:Sister Sadie is a wildfire: raging hot bluegrass combined with breathtaking instrumental drive and awe-inspiring vocals. Comprised of original members Deanie Richardson (fiddle)\, and Gena Britt (banjo\, harmony vocals) and newcomers Hasee Ciaccio (bass)\, Jaelee Roberts (guitar\, lead vocals)\, and Mary Meyer (mandolin\, harmony vocals)\, Sister Sadie has combined the varied talents of each of the individual women in the lineup to create something that is far more than the sum of its parts. It is a sound uniquely their own. Yes\, it’s undeniably classic\, hard-driving bluegrass\, but it’s much more than just that. Rooted in forceful and tight vocal harmonies\, this isn’t your granddaddy’s Appalachian high lonesome sound. This is something far more powerful than that-it’s the sound of the\nmountains themselves.\nOriginally formed as a pickup band in December of 2012\, Sister Sadie has reached heights beyond any of their dreams. In 2019\, they won their first IBMA award as a band\, named the Vocal Group of the Year. They debuted on the Grand Ole Opry. Their album “Sister Sadie II” was nominated for a GRAMMY. And it’s only picked up steam since then. 2020 brought with it another wave of IBMA Awards: Fiddle Player of the Year for Deanie Richardson\, their second Vocal Group of the Year award\, and their first Entertainer of the Year award-the highest award in all of bluegrass. In 2021\, Sister Sadie was featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s American Currents exhibit. The same year\, the band took home a third consecutive IBMA Vocal Group of the Year award\, and new member Jaelee Roberts was awarded the IBMA Momentum Vocalist of the Year award. In 2022\, Gena Britt was recognized as the SPBGMA Banjo Player of the Year and Sister Sadie signed with Mountain\nHome Records to begin work on their third studio album.\nNow\, entering their second decade as a band\, the spark that they felt all those years ago burns brighter than ever before. \nOpening act\, hailing from the banks of the Ohio River in Owensboro\, Ky\, Kentucky Shine has been recognized as one of the region’s strongest emerging talents. In their inaugural year the band had the privilege to perform at ROMP Music Festival\, Jerusalem Ridge Festival\, First City Music Festival\, and the Bluegrass Beer and BBQ Festival in Grand Rivers\, Kentucky. \nKentucky Shine’s high energy show and unique abilities on stage have allowed them multiple opportunities to perform at The Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Museum\, and share performances with Bluegrass greats such as Dan Tyminski\, and Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out. They also won the grand prize in Owensboro’s 2021 Friday Night Fight band contest and were awarded a cash prize\, along with the opportunity to share a performance with Friday After Five headliners\, ATCK. \nIn addition to their 2021 performance triumphs Kentucky Shine’s original music has been featured in a documentary funded by the Paul Green Foundation\, as well as released on an EP titled Leavin’ Town. \nTickets are on sale now.  Student tickets are $15\, and adult tickets are $20.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \n \n Get Tickets\n \n \nBundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert! Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005 \n \n LINK COMING SOON

SUMMARY:Watchhouse Duo
DESCRIPTION:Join us April 1\, 2023 for Watchhouse Duo featuring Andrew Marlin & Emily Franz\, and guest Samantha Crain. Tickets are on sale now.  Preferred seating is $48.50\, and reserved seating is $38.50.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm. Bar and concessions available. \nOver a year after Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz of Watchhouse (formerly known as Mandolin Orange) reintroduced themselves on their 2021 self-titled LP\, the pair shared a special surprise release: Watchhouse (Duo)\, a self-produced recording of Marlin and Frantz performing the most elemental possible arrangements of all nine songs from Watchhouse. It’s a project that captures the fundamental power of Watchhouse: Two singers and musicians with profound chemistry\, performing earnest yet masterfully crafted songs that encompass the unknowable mysteries\, existential heartbreak\, and communal joys of modern life. \nStarting over a decade ago playing coffee shops and local restaurants around North Carolina\, Watchhouse is a grassroots success story that’s been driven by Marlin’s poignant songwriting. They’ve sold out iconic venues (Red Rocks\, Ryman Auditorium) and attract hundreds of millions of streams while producing exploratory music that “redefines roots music for a younger generation” (Washington Post). \n2022 was filled with many endeavors including the American Acoustic Tour with Punch Brothers\, headlining shows across the US\, collaborating with Planet Bluegrass on Mabon\, an autumn equinox concert series\, and of course Watchhouse (Duo). In 2023\, Marlin and Frantz will celebrate the release of Watchhouse (Duo) with a short run of shows that will feature just the two of them\, harkening back to their earliest days of performing. Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005 \n BUNDLE HOTEL & TICKETS

SUMMARY:Wade Hayes & Bryan White
DESCRIPTION:Country music’s power has always been in its ability to reflect real life\, and few artists have a stronger gift for capturing both heartache and hope than Wade Hayes. In the past few years\, the singer/songwriter has navigated a complicated journey that has produced some of the most potent songs of his already impressive career. Surviving stage IV colon cancer\, not just once but twice\, has given Hayes a unique perspective of the fragility of life and the strength of the human spirit. Those lessons learned are embodied in the songs on Go Live Your Life. \nFar from being a heavy manifesto on pain and survival\, Go Live Your Life is actually a vibrant tapestry that is both poignant and playful. The title track is an upbeat anthem that celebrates living life to the fullest while “Dirt Road” pays homage to his Oklahoma roots and “Remember the Alimony” is a tongue-in-cheek slice of advice to a friend on the precipice of another romantic mistake. “She is Home” is a tender love song about life’s true priorities while “If the Sun Comes Up” is a powerful ballad about moving on. Anchored by Hayes insightful songwriting and brought to life through his warm\, rich baritone\, the songs on Go Life Your Life are steeped in country’s best traditions yet have a contemporary edge. \nHayes was in his early 20s when he began churning out such enduring hits as “Old Enough to Know Better\,” “I’m Still Dancing with You\,” “On a Good Night” and “What I Meant to Say.” A second generation country singer from Bethel Acres\, Oklahoma\, Hayes grew up watching his dad perform. The young guitarist’s dream was to be the next Don Rich\, Buck Owens’ revered guitar player and one of country music’s most legendary sidemen. “I was a big fan of Don Rich and I thought that’s what I wanted to do\,” he recalls. “That’s what I moved to Nashville for.” \nIn 2009\, he released the critically acclaimed independent album\, A Place to Turn Around\, and continued to tour extensively until his world came to a screeching halt when he was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in the fall of 2011. It was a surprise to everyone\, even the doctors. Because Hayes was so young\, doctors initially thought the symptoms were the result of him working out too strenuously and lifting too much weight. After extensive surgery and debilitating chemotherapy\, Hayes battled his way back to health only to have the cancer return in the fall of 2012. \nHe’s now cancer free again\, and the title track of his new album was inspired by a conversation with his oncologist. “That’s a song that I’m very proud of\,” he says. “When I’d gotten through cancer the second time and we were looking at my blood work\, my oncologist was talking about taking my port out. A port is something they implant into either your chest or under your arm where you receive chemotherapy. My oncologist said\, ‘Wade\, you were stage IV and now you’re cancer free. We can take your port out. This is a big deal and I want to tell you something. I want you to go live your life.’ \nIn addition to writing and recording\, Hayes has been back on the road\, touring this spring with pals Bryan White and Mark Wills. He also enjoys spending time at his 11-acre farm outside Nashville where one of his favorite hobbies is restoring old pick up trucks. He makes time to share his experience with cancer and encourage others fighting the battle. “I’ve met so many wonderful people during this journey\, especially when I started healing and got out and began speaking. I’ve met some incredible\, brave people that were inspiring to me and told me that my story is inspiring to them. I heard the story of a guy who had cancer similar to mine and he made it back to being cancer free. It gave me so much hope that once I got through the valley I thought\, ‘Man\, that’s what I want to do for other people.’ I want to help them and try to give them inspiration and hope. With God all things are possible. I’m a living example.” \n———————————- \nBryan White is a CMA\, ACM\, and Grammy award-winning country music artist\, producer\, and songwriter. Throughout his prolific recording career\, he’s charted 21 singles\, of which 6 were number 1. His hits include “So Much for Pretending\,” “Sittin’ On Go\,” “I’m Not Supposed to Love You Anymore\,” “Rebecca Lynn\,” “Someone Else’s Star” and “From This Moment On” which he recorded with Shania Twain for her “Come On Over” album which is the biggest selling female album of all time. Bryan has sold more than 4.5 million albums. His list of honors include a Grammy\, The CMA’s 1996 Horizon Award\, The Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist\, CMT Awards Artist of the Year\, multiple CMA and ACM Male vocalist nominations as well as Canadian Country Music Awards. In 1998\, White was voted one of People magazine’s *50 Most Beautiful People.” \nWhite has toured with many of Country Music’s biggest artists including Alan Jackson\, Vince Gill\, and Bryan teamed up with LeAnn Rimes in 1998 for their co headline “Something To Talk About Tour” which was the number 12 top grossing tour of that year. \nAs a songwriter Bryan has written songs for a host of artists. Wynona\, LeAnn Rimes\, Joe Diffie\, Diamond Rio\, Sawyer Brown\, and many others. \nBryan’s song “God. Gave Me You” was an international smash hit in Asia and has taken him there multiple times. The song came to fame when super stars Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza made it their theme song in the Philippines on the popular variety show Eat Bulaga. \nProceeds to benefit the free instrument loan program offered by the Bluegrass Music Academy. Tickets are on sale now.  Preferred seating is $30\, and reserved seating is $25.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \n \n Get Tickets

SUMMARY:The Nashville Songwriter
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Jagoe Homes – September 8th \nJoin us for an evening of music under the stars!  The Nashville Songwriter takes place September 8th in the outdoor stage area on our north lawn.   Seating will not be provided\, so bring your own chair or blanket.  Gates open at 6:30 pm\, concert begins at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 each for general admission.  Bar and concessions will available during the concert in the outdoor stage area. \nFeaturing professional songwriters based in Nashville\, Tennessee\, the series focuses on both hit makers and those searching for their first hit. The series highlights stories and lives of those working to create the soundtrack of America.  Each event features several Nashville-based songwriters offering the backstory on their work and sharing personal experiences that shape their songs. \n \nAdam James\nAdam James was raised on a farm in central Illinois. As a child of 90s country radio\, he always dreamed of making music in Music City. Now\, Adam currently writes for Universal Music Publishing Group and his songs have been recorded by Kenny Chesney\, Dierks Bentley and Zac Brown Band\, just to name a few. He recently achieved his first #1 hit with Chesney’s “Knowing You”\, which was also nominated for ACM Song Of The Year. \n \nKimberly Kelly\nSomething’s happening in country music. Newer artists and younger audiences are embracing instrumentation\, vocal stylings and song structures long thought drowned in the ocean of slick\, snap-track productions. Not easily dismissed as merely regional or a novelty throwback\, the trend could be on its way to full-blown movement. If so\, Kimberly Kelly’s Show Dog Nashville debut album may prove to be the clarion call. Either way … she’s not asking. \nA native of Lorena\, Texas\, Kelly has multiple connections to the Nashville industry. She has also been unafraid to defy convention. “This is not my first rodeo\,” she says of her labeldebut. “I worked really hard in Texas before I came to Nashville. I wrote songs\, put out records\, did a radio tour\, and played every weekend while earning a Master’s degree. They say don’t have a ‘plan B\,’ but I watched my mom struggle to get that next level of pay. My mom earned her bachelor’s degree when she was 60\, so school was important to me to know I could take care of myself.” \n  \n \nChancie Neal\nNashville-based country artist from Calhoun\, Louisiana\, Chancie Neal\, is a platinum- selling songwriter and the current record holder as the youngest World Champion Barrel Racer. One ofher most popular singles on Spotify with 110\,000 streams\, “Rodeo Money”\, tells the story of her winning ways on the rodeo circuit as a kid while showcasing her musical talent as an adult. That same kid met Luke Bryan after his show at a rodeo in Mississippi where he invited her on tour after hearing her play a few songs at 13 years old. She held that opening spot for the next seven years joining Luke for his Farm Tour\, Tailgates & Tanlines Tour and Spring Break Tour where she played for large crowds\, including over 100\,000 people on some nights. During her seven years on the road with Luke\, she was the only female artist in the lineup. She landed a deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2012\, wrote “Ducks in a Row” for the show Duck Dynasty in 2013 and her song “Hairy Christmas” recorded by Luke Bryan wentplatinum in 2014. Chancie has opened for numerous artists\, including Jake Owen\, Chris Janson\, Florida Georgia Line and Pat Green\, was part of the official CMA Fest lineup from 2013-16 and was featured at Tin Pan South from 2015-17.In 2020\, Chancie was reunited with Luke to put down background vocals on his song “Where Are We Goin'”\, which is featured on his latest album\, “Born Here\, Live Here\, Die Here”\, that was nominated for an ACM Award for Album of the Year. She also went back to her rodeo roots by playing several shows at the National Rodeo Finals in Fort Worth\, Texas and released “Hell Mary”\, which became her second single to amass 110\,000 streams.
