SUMMARY:The Kody Norris Show
DESCRIPTION:Join us June 1\, for The Kody Norris Show! \nDeeply rooted in North American folk music\, Norris has crafted an original performance that harkens back and tips a hat to the traditions created by Bill Monroe\, Jimmy Martin’s showmanship\, the Stanley Brothers’ harmonies\, performances of the Grand Ole Opry and a bit of Vaudeville. Top notch picking is center stage\, but humor and visual flash are part of the entertaining package. Always clad in colorful\, tailored suits adorned with rhinestones\, ties\, classic hats and ornate boots\, the band earns its moniker as a “show.” The brand is traditional\, clean cut\, acoustic and always entertaining. \nTickets are on sale now.  Preferred seating is $32 and reserved seating is $25.  Doors open at 5:30 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \n \n Concert Tickets\n \n \n\n The Kody Norris Show\n	\nWhatever you do\, don’t call The Kody Norris Show ‘retro.’ \nBecause while the reigning SPBGMA Entertainers of the Year are known for the rhinestones that shine\nfrom their lapels and the fringe that hangs from their collars seem to conjure up memories of times\ngone by\, The Kody Norris Show are very much directing their gaze forever forward.\nNow\, more than ever before. \nThe talented group\, made up of frontman Kody Norris\, Josiah Tyree\, Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris\, and\nCharlie Lowman\, finds themselves with a growing legion of fans craving the comfort that comes from\ntheir retro look\, but equally craving dynamic instrumentation and thought-provoking lyrics – all of\nwhich can be heard throughout their epic new album Rhinestone Revival.\n“There is a whole chapter of country music that’s just kind of faded away\,” The Kody Norris Show’s\nfrontman once said. “I believe The Kody Norris Show has been instrumental in bringing back some of\nthat nostalgia and some of that classic look that country music and bluegrass music used to have.”\nThe foundations of the electrifying four-piece band can be found within the roots of Kody Norris\nhimself\, a once inquisitive youngster from Mountain City\, Tennessee who would spend hours sitting in\nthe passenger seat of his Uncle Jack’s Chevrolet El Camino listening to the entirety of The Stanley\nBrothers 16 Greatest Hits tape\, wondering if he would ever be able to match the sweet harmonies\ncoming through the speakers.\nIt was those very harmonies that Norris also would recognize wavering through the rafters of the\nBaptist church he attended as a kid. There was a bluegrass quartet that would play in the Free Will\nBaptist Church\, and soon Norris became infatuated with the music that could materialize from a\nbanjo and a guitar. So\, at nine years old\, he picked up the mandolin.\nAnd he never put it down. \nIt was a similar love affair of music for Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris\, who started playing classical violin\nin the fourth grade\, but by the fifth grade\, she knew it wasn’t for her. Instead\, in a quest to differentiate\nthekodynorrisshow.com\nherself from her musical counterparts in her grade school orchestra\, she took up the fiddle. She\nbegan playing the festival circuit alongside the likes of the legendary Larry Sparks and the Lonesome\nRamblers and soon became one of the most dynamic females on those festival stages.\nIt was on that stage she eventually met her husband Kody\, who had already gone on to play alongside\nthe likes of Ralph Stanley\, Ralph Stanley II\, and Joe Isaacs throughout his already impressive career.\nIn 2017\, banjo extraordinaire Josiah Tyree signed on with The Kody Norris Show\, and soon his\nold-time clawhammer style fit right into the bluegrass style that the band was becoming known for\nacross the country. And when bass player Charlie Lowman joined in on the fun\, armed with a\ngiddiness and love for the music that he plays that soon became infectious\, The Kody Norris Show as\nwe now know it was complete.\nIt was musical magic at its finest. \nIt’s this easy-going nature that became downright illuminated on 2017’s When I Get the Money Made\,\nwhich was named Bluegrass Album of the Year by the National Traditional Country Music\nAssociation. The Kody Norris Show followed it up with 2019’s All Suited Up\, which debuted at #7 on\nthe Billboard charts. Now playing over 100 dates a year across the country and around the world\, The\nKody Norris Show have been part of the University of Chicago Folk Festival and are part of two weekly\nprograms on the acclaimed RFD-TV’s network\, The Cumberland Highlanders Show and The Bluegrass\nTrail.\nBut with the release of Rhinestone Revival comes a feeling that listeners have just begun to witness\nThe Kody Norris Show’s very own revival\, as the band finds themselves sprinkling their iconic\nrhinestones on a few different music genres to solidify their place on the musical landscape.\nAnd the fans can’t get enough.\nIn fact\, it’s those fans that have raised The Kody Norris Show to a place in which they stand today\, a\nplace where the four-piece\, multi-instrumentalist\, bluegrass band are quickly becoming four of the\nmost epic entertainers of our time. Add that to the songwriting displayed on the Kody Norris-penned\n“Baltimore I’m Leaving\,” “Fiddler’s Rock\,” “Please Tell Me Why\,” and the infectious “Gotta Get My Baby\nBack” on Rhinestone Revival\, and there is no doubt that The Kody Norris Show is as current as ever.\nThey ain’t retro. They have something different. They have something uniquely theirs. They have\nsomething that makes them stand out.\n“We want people to know who we are\,” Norris once said. \nAnd they will. \n	Bundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!  Enjoy sweeping riverfront views while staying with our hotel partner.  When you bundle your tickets\, the Hampton Inn offers discounted rates for your stay.  The price includes two tickets to the concert\, and the tickets are located in row H.  You will receive your tickets at check-in with the hotel.  Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005

The brothers grew up singing gospel music while listening to James Blackwood and the Blackwood Brothers\, Hovie Lister\, and The Statesmen Quartet as well other accomplished gospel artists. As children the brothers would sing for anyone who would listen. Soon they were singing from coast to coast and appeared at the World’s Fair in 1964 in New York City. They recorded four Gospel records early in their career. In 1966\, Larry went to college at the University of Houston where he studied English and Law. In 1971\, he auditioned for The Imperials\, Elvis’ backup group. While he did not get the job\, he met Dottie West\, who was the opening act for Jimmy Dean. Dean would later become one of Larry’s oldest and dearest friends. Dottie was initially taken with Larry’s resemblance to Nashville songwriter Mickey Newbury. She told him one night in Las Vegas that he looked so much like Mickey\, he had to be able to write great songs too. Encouraged\, Larry returned to Houston\, wrote eight songs\, and sent them to Dottie.  She liked them so much she sent him a plane ticket to Nashville. \nThrough Dottie’s friendship\, Larry met Kris Kristofferson\, who championed his talents as a writer and singer. Kristofferson’s introduction to Fred Foster at Monument Records resulted in a recording contract with the label. Larry’s first album\, The Pilgrim\, was released later that year. Johnny Cash wrote the liner notes for the album and dubbed him “The Pilgrim”\, a name he called him the rest of his life.  At this time Steve and Rudy were still in college at Texas Tech University\, but by 1975 they moved to Nashville to join Larry to form the group as we know it today. \nThe brothers still perform approximately 50 shows per year as well as many performances at the famed Grand Ole’ Opry.  They are also in the planning stages of recording some new music.  “We are blessed that fans still love our music & attend our shows” says Steve & “we hope to continue as long as that’s the case.” \nListed below are a few of the awards\, television shows & venues the brothers have worked. \n1964 World’s Fair New York City\, New York / Hee-Haw / Hee-Haw Honeys \nHuckabee TV Show / The Barbara Mandrel Show/ The Merv Griffith Show \nThe Mike Douglas Show / Gatlin Brothers ABC Special / Solid Gold TV Show \nThe Dinah Shore Show / John Davidson TV Show / SALUTE with Dick Clark \nJohnny Cash Special / Crook & Chase Show / Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack \nLove Boat / Marty Stuart TV Show / Larry’s Country Diner \nJason Crabb TV Show / Pop Goes the County / Marty Robbins TV Show / Ralph Emory TV Show \nTommy Hunter TV Show (Canada) / Bill Gaither Videos / Carnegie Hall (New York) \nAT&T Stadium (Dallas) / Wembley Stadium (London) / Death Valley (Clemson University) \nSuper Dome (New Orleans) / Madison Square Garden (New York) / Pontiac Silverdome (Pontiac) \nAstrodome (Houston) / Reliant Field (Houston) \nNissan Stadium (Titans Nashville) / Yankee Stadium (New York) \nRose Bowl (Pasadena\, CA) / Candlestick Park (San Francisco) / Forum (Los Angeles) \nRyman Auditorium (Nashville) \nGrand Ole Opry House (Nashville) / 45 years members of Grand Ole Opry \nPerformed for last 8 U.S. PRESIDENTS \n	Bundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!

SUMMARY:Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder
DESCRIPTION:Join us March 15 for Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder!\nTickets are on sale now.  Reserved seating is $58 and preferred seating is $68.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \nThis concert is part of the Great American Bluegrass Jam weekend. Be sure to check out the other festivities of the weekend! \n \n Concert Tickets\n \n \n\n Ricky Skaggs\n	\nFifteen-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Ricky Skaggs’ career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history. If Skaggs’ burgeoning trophy case full of awards wasn’t already enough evidence of that fact\, consider that legendary guitarist Chet Atkins once credited Skaggs with “single-handedly saving country music.” His life’s path has taken him to various musical genres\, from where it all began in bluegrass music\, to striking out on new musical journeys\, while still leaving his musical roots intact. \nBorn July 18\, 1954 in Cordell\, Kentucky\, Skaggs showed signs of future stardom at an early age\, playing mandolin on stage with bluegrass pioneer Bill Monroe at 6 and appearing on TV with Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs at 7. He emerged as a professional bluegrass musician in 1971\, when he and his friend Keith Whitley were invited to join the legendary Ralph Stanley’s band the Clinch Mountain Boys. Skaggs then went on to record and perform with progressive bluegrass acts like the Country Gentlemen and J.D. Crowe & the New South\, whose self-titled 1975 Rounder Records debut album was instantly recognized as a landmark bluegrass achievement. He then led Boone Creek\, which also featured Dobro ace and fellow New South alumnus Jerry Douglas. \nBut Skaggs turned to the more mainstream country music genre in the late ’70s when he joined Emmylou Harris’s Hot Band\, replacing Rodney Crowell. He became a recording artist in his own right in 1981 when his Epic label debut album Waitin’ for the Sun to Shine topped the country charts and yielded a pair of #1 hits. Overall\, his productive stay at Epic Records would result in a total of 12 #1 hits. Additionally\, he garnered eight Country Music Association Awards–including the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy in 1985. \nSkaggs\, of course\, fit right in with young “new-traditionalist” ’80s artists like Randy Travis\, and helped rejuvenate the country music genre after the worn-out “Urban Cowboy” period. But\, Skaggs put his own stamp on the country format by infusing his bluegrass and traditional country music roots into the contemporary Nashville sound. \nSkaggs’ 1997 album Bluegrass Rules!\, released on his newly-formed Skaggs Family Records label\, marked a triumphant return to bluegrass-which he’s solidified ever since with a series of GRAMMY® Award winning albums\, recorded with his amazing bluegrass band\, Kentucky Thunder (8-time winners of the IBMA ‘Instrumental Group of the Year’). Skaggs’ label has also served as a home for similar bluegrass and roots music-oriented artists including The Whites. \nIn the past decade\, he has been honored with inductions into the Gospel Music Association’s Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame. In 2018\, a landmark year\, Skaggs was also awarded membership into the National Fiddler Hall of Fame\, the IBMA Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and country music’s greatest honor\, the Country Music Hall of Fame. Most recently\, he was awarded the prestigious National Medal of Arts in 2020 for his contributions to the American music industry. \nRicky struck his first chords on a mandolin over 60 years ago\, and he continues to do his part to lead the recent roots revival in music. Clearly his passion for it puts him in the position to bring his lively\, distinctively American form of music out of isolation and into the ears and hearts of audiences across the country and around the world. Ricky Skaggs is always forging ahead with cross-cultural\, genre-bending musical ideas and inspirations.

SUMMARY:RSG - Barry Rowland & Deliverance\, New Ground\, & Dixie Echoes Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Join us on December 2\, 2023\, at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum for Barry Rowland & Deliverance\, New Ground\, & Dixie Echoes Quartet! This concert is part of the REAL Southern Gospel Weekend\, hosted by Les Butler. \nTickets are on sale now.  Tickets are $35.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \n  \n \n PURCHASE TICKETS\n \n \n	Barry Rowland & Deliverance \nOur mission is not to entertain. Our main purpose and goal is to effectively reach a lost and dying world for Christ through song and testimony while encouraging the saints of God along the way. We cannot be effective in our ministry unless the Holy Spirit fills us with His presence and power. The message is simple: Jesus came into this world to save sinners and He is willing that none should perish\, but that all should come to repentance through His shed blood on the cross. With His help and by His grace we will continue to lift up the name that is above every name until our time on Earth is over. \nNew Ground \nYears ago a group of friends met just to see what it would “sound like” as a gospel trio and possibly begin a ministry singing songs for Him!!!  With the intention to sing a few church services\, gospel events and wherever the call came from this chance meeting is now celebrating their 28th Anniversary of singing gospel music. \nNew Ground is enjoying  gospel music without compromise. It’s been an extraordinary over a quarter of a century\, with 3500 sings behind them – from their hometown of Scottsboro\, Alabama to Juneau\, Alaska\, then onwards to Scotland with many states and countries in between\, the group remains true today and as they continue to  look ahead for more opportunities to further His Name in song!!! \nDale and Robbie Maxwell\, founding members of New Ground\, are still going strong in their belief that the Lord appointed this union to carry His Word thru music. \nThey are joined by David Owens\, who is celebrating 30 years with New Ground. \n  \nDixie Echoes Quartet \nFor over 50 years\, The Dixie Echoes have been delivering the gospel message in song across America through their spiritually uplifting music ministry. Considered to be one of the pioneer gospel groups\, the Dixie Echoes have returned to their roots singing around two microphones with just a piano. Respected among their peers and industry leaders alike\, the Dixie Echoes are recognized as one of the premiere groups in gospel music. \nSince the Dixie Echoes formed in 1960\, they have released nearly 70 albums and have had numerous top ten singles. They have been honored with six members being inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame: J.G. Whitfield (1997)\, Dale Shelnut (2001)\, Jack Toney (2005)\, Billy Todd (2009)\, Tim Riley (2013)\, and Randy Shelnut (2017). \nThe Dixie Echoes have performed throughout the United States\, Mexico\, and Canada at well-known venues such as the National Quartet Convention\, Gospel Jubilee Cruise\, the Brumley Sing\, Memphis Quartet Show\, Dollywood\, Silver Dollar City\, and Carnegie Hall as well as churches\, fairs\, and on television. The Dixie Echoes have appeared on such programs as TBN\, INSP and are most notably remembered for their regular appearances on the nationally syndicated television show\, The Gospel Singing Jubilee which aired in the late 1960’s and 70’s. \nAlthough each individual presents his own musical styling\, the members collectively share the common goal of doing everything they can to expose the audience to the power of a meaningful song. With arguably the best line-up of talent ever\, the Dixie Echoes present the gospel message in song with a touch of class and excellence. \nOver the last 50 years God has trusted the Dixie Echoes with the huge purpose of telling everyone they can about Him. To do this He has provided talented men with a dedication to this grand style of music. In the timeless tradition of the Statesmen Quartet and the Blackwood Brothers Quartet\, the Dixie Echoes will continue to sing songs in such a manner that no one can miss a single word\, not one distraction from hearing what the songwriter wanted to s

SUMMARY:RSG - The Hoppers & The Williamsons
DESCRIPTION:Join us on December 1\, 2023 at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum for The Hoppers & The Williamsons! This concert is part of the REAL Southern Gospel Weekend\, hosted by Les Butler. \nTickets are on sale now.  Tickets are $35.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \n \n PURCHASE TICKETS\n \n \n	The Hoppers \nMulti-award winning family group The Hoppers have been singing to global audiences for over 60 years with appearances ranging from presidential religious inaugural ceremonies and New York’s Carnegie Hall to singing conventions and church platforms. They have performed throughout the United States as well as in Israel\, Europe and Africa. Their unique blend of harmonies and song choices have created a legacy of musical excellence embraced by leading pastors and event organizers. Known as America’s Favorite Family of Gospel Music\, they are favorites on the Gaither Homecoming videos and tours\, and their recordings frequently land at the top of the BILLBOARD sales charts and The Singing News radio charts. \nThe Hoppers are comprised today of family members Claude & Connie\, son Dean and his wife\, Kim\, son Mike\, and Dean & Kims daughter\, Karlye. The Hoppers were formed in 1957 in the rural-farm town of Madison\, NC\, and have grown continuously for decades\, touching countless lives around the world. A cancer survivor\, Connie has been honored with the prestigious Marvin Norcross Award\, in addition to numerous industry and fan honors; and she has been inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Sons Dean and Mike have continued the family legacy with their musical talents and business abilities; and Kim\, Dean’s wife\, hails from her own nationally acclaimed musical family\, The Greenes. She is noted for the excitement she brings to any live performance\, and her unmistakable\, rafter-ringing soprano vocals have taken The Hoppers to new heights for many years. \n  \nThe Williamsons \nThe Williamson Family began singing together as a group in 1969 with Woody and Pinky Williamson and their children\, Donnie and Tennie. Donnie has carried on the family ministry ever since. Though the makeup of the group has changed over time\, their goal remains the same: Share the story of Jesus in song wherever they can! Members of the Williamsons today include Donnie Williamson and his wife Lisa\, their children Sadie and Olivia Williamson\, Darin Hebert and Bo Chesser. \nThe group’s mission statement is more than just a statement. It is the heartfelt desire of every member of The Williamsons. It simply says\, “The Williamsons will share the Gospel through music in order to see the lost come to Christ\, the Christian uplifted\, and provide quality Christian entertainment all for the glory of God.” It’s easy to say that your goal is to reach people for Christ\, but it’s much harder to do. The Williamsons have such a heart for evangelism that they have made mission trips to the Philippines\, Nicaragua\, and Kenya and have seen over 25\,000 lives changed. They also travel across the United States sharing their unique style of Christian music in large concert halls and in churches of all sizes and denominations. \nThe Williamsons have produced more than a dozen recordings with much of their material written by Lisa and Donnie. Several of their songs have reached the Singing News top 40\, the prevailing chart for Southern Gospel Radio. In December 2015\, the group achieved their first #1 song\, “Shout\,” and received their second #1 song in March 2019 for\, “Every Moment\, Every Mountain\, Every Mile”. Their latest album\, “Above Everything” is on track to equal their past recordings\, having already produced two top 20 songs! They have had many Featured Artists segments on the Gospel Greats and Sirius XM Enlighten radio. Their music is regularly played on southern gospel radio stations around the world.

SUMMARY:Musick Studios Presents Mangled Mirror- Hallow Reflections
DESCRIPTION:On all Hallows Eve just one year ago\, a group of teens decided to skip their usual activities and choose to dare one another to explore the forbidden woods on the edge of town. Through a night of terror\, laughs\, dancing and hauntings\, only two girls managed to escape. There seemed to be something pulling them back to the woods through every mirror they passed. The remaining girls managed to stay away until Halloween night 2023.\nWhen they hear a voice calling out to them… and find themselves standing at the edge of the woods.

SUMMARY:Sierra Hull
DESCRIPTION:Join us on October 13\, 2023\, for Sierra Hull at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. \nTickets are on sale now.  Preferred seating is $42\, and reserved seating is $32. Doors open at 6p\, and the show starts at 7p. Bar and concessions will be available. \n \n GET TICKETS\n \n	In her first 25 years alone\, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sierra Hull hit more milestones than many musicians accomplish in a lifetime. After making her Grand Ole Opry debut at the age of 10\, the Tennessee-bred virtuoso mandolinist played Carnegie Hall at age 12\, then landed a deal with Rounder Records just a year later. Now 28-years-old\, Hull is set to deliver her fourth full- length for Rounder: an elegantly inventive and endlessly captivating album called 25 Trips. \nEven as its songs continually shift in genre\, encompassing everything from bluegrass to folk-pop to ethereal alt-rock\, 25 Trips remains rooted in the sophisticated musicianship that Hull has cultivated almost her entire life. Hailing from the tiny Tennessee hamlet of Byrdstown\, she learned to sing from her mother as toddler\, took up mandolin just a few years later\, and began joining in local bluegrass jams by the young age of eight. With her childhood triumphs including joining her hero and mentor Alison Krauss onstage at the Grand Ole Opry at age 11\, she made her Rounder debut with the 2008 album Secrets and promptly garnered the first of many nominations for Mandolin Player of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards. In 2016\, after a near- decade of consecutive nominations\, Hull became the first-ever woman to win the award-then claimed that prize again at the 2017 and 2018 IBMAs. Over the years\, Hull has also maintained a rigorous touring schedule\, and has made occasional guest appearances with such icons as the Indigo Girls\, Garth Brooks\, and Gillian Welch. \nMarking a bold new era in Hull’s artistic evolution\, 25 Trips wholly channels the pure and palpable joy she discovered in the album’s creation-and ultimately illuminates certain truths about the indelible connection between risk-taking and reward. “One of the things I most enjoyed about making this record was getting to show the wide variety of music I love\,” says Hull. “I don’t really know what category the album falls in\, but I also think that matters less and less. What really matters to me is trusting myself to be who I am\, and just putting my voice and my heart out there in the most sincere way that I possibly can.” \n \n	Bundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\n	Located next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!

SUMMARY:Steve Earle
DESCRIPTION:Join us on August 19\, 2023\, for Steve Earle at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. \nTickets are on sale now.  Preferred seating is $58\, and reserved seating is $42 \nSteve Earle is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protege of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark\, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right\, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash\, Waylon Jennings\, Joan Baez\, Emmylou Harris\, The Pretenders\, and countless others. 1986 saw the release of his record\, Guitar Town\, which shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Subsequent releases like The Revolution Starts…Now (2004)\, Washington Square Serenade (2007)\, and TOWNES (2009) received consecutive GRAMMY® Awards. Restlessly creative across artistic disciplines\, Earle has published both a novel and collection of short stories; produced albums for other artists such as Joan Baez and Lucinda Williams\, and acted in films\, television (including David Simon’s acclaimed The Wire)\, and on the stage. In 2009\, Earle  appeared in the off-Broadway play Samara\, for which he also wrote a score that The New York Times described as “exquisitely subliminal.” Earle wrote music for and appeared in Coal Country\, a riveting Public Theater play that dives into the most-deadly mining disaster in U.S. history\, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. Mr. Earle was recently inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. \n GET TICKETS \nBundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!

His third album on the Dark Shadow Recording label\, Rick Faris has been breaking new paths in the bluegrass scene with his incredible singing\, picking\, writing\, and musicality. Again enlisting the help of some of his closest pals AND some musical heroes\, Uncommon Sky leans deeply into the ground he’s already paved. \nFrom Rick Faris: ” This is a song of my childhood from one of my favorite movies. This song was so much fun to reimagine with Stephen Mougin producing the plot and the amazing cast of friends acting out with their talents and personalities. Grab your shades and 80’s-anthem-out with us.”

SUMMARY:Sister Sadie
DESCRIPTION:Sister Sadie is a wildfire: raging hot bluegrass combined with breathtaking instrumental drive and awe-inspiring vocals. Comprised of original members Deanie Richardson (fiddle)\, and Gena Britt (banjo\, harmony vocals) and newcomers Hasee Ciaccio (bass)\, Jaelee Roberts (guitar\, lead vocals)\, and Mary Meyer (mandolin\, harmony vocals)\, Sister Sadie has combined the varied talents of each of the individual women in the lineup to create something that is far more than the sum of its parts. It is a sound uniquely their own. Yes\, it’s undeniably classic\, hard-driving bluegrass\, but it’s much more than just that. Rooted in forceful and tight vocal harmonies\, this isn’t your granddaddy’s Appalachian high lonesome sound. This is something far more powerful than that-it’s the sound of the\nmountains themselves.\nOriginally formed as a pickup band in December of 2012\, Sister Sadie has reached heights beyond any of their dreams. In 2019\, they won their first IBMA award as a band\, named the Vocal Group of the Year. They debuted on the Grand Ole Opry. Their album “Sister Sadie II” was nominated for a GRAMMY. And it’s only picked up steam since then. 2020 brought with it another wave of IBMA Awards: Fiddle Player of the Year for Deanie Richardson\, their second Vocal Group of the Year award\, and their first Entertainer of the Year award-the highest award in all of bluegrass. In 2021\, Sister Sadie was featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s American Currents exhibit. The same year\, the band took home a third consecutive IBMA Vocal Group of the Year award\, and new member Jaelee Roberts was awarded the IBMA Momentum Vocalist of the Year award. In 2022\, Gena Britt was recognized as the SPBGMA Banjo Player of the Year and Sister Sadie signed with Mountain\nHome Records to begin work on their third studio album.\nNow\, entering their second decade as a band\, the spark that they felt all those years ago burns brighter than ever before. \nOpening act\, hailing from the banks of the Ohio River in Owensboro\, Ky\, Kentucky Shine has been recognized as one of the region’s strongest emerging talents. In their inaugural year the band had the privilege to perform at ROMP Music Festival\, Jerusalem Ridge Festival\, First City Music Festival\, and the Bluegrass Beer and BBQ Festival in Grand Rivers\, Kentucky. \nKentucky Shine’s high energy show and unique abilities on stage have allowed them multiple opportunities to perform at The Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Museum\, and share performances with Bluegrass greats such as Dan Tyminski\, and Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out. They also won the grand prize in Owensboro’s 2021 Friday Night Fight band contest and were awarded a cash prize\, along with the opportunity to share a performance with Friday After Five headliners\, ATCK. \nIn addition to their 2021 performance triumphs Kentucky Shine’s original music has been featured in a documentary funded by the Paul Green Foundation\, as well as released on an EP titled Leavin’ Town. \nTickets are on sale now.  Student tickets are $15\, and adult tickets are $20.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \n \n Get Tickets\n \n \nBundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert! Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005 \n \n LINK COMING SOON
