Music’s ultimate inside outsider. Or is it outside insider? There is only one Sam Bush. \nTickets are on sale now.  VIP seating is $68\, and reserved seating is $42.  Doors open at 6:00 pm\, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available. \n \n GET TICKETS\n \n	Important Covid-19 Info: \n* Based on guidance from local and regional health officials\, all concerts in Woodward Theatre at the Hall of Fame will now require proof of vaccination (14 days since the final dose) OR a negative Covid-19 test from a medical provider within 72 hours of arrival presented along with a photo ID for those ages 16 & up.  Children ages 5-11 will have to provide a negative Covid-19 test from a medical provider within 72 hours of arrival and be accompanied by a parent who can attest to their identity.  Children under 5 do not need to be tested.  If you have any questions or test positive within 72 hours of arrival\, please email us at:  healthandsafety@bluegrassmuseum.org \nAll sales are final — there are no refunds.\n \n \n	Bundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!  Enjoy sweeping riverfront views while staying with our hotel partner.  When you bundle your tickets\, the Hampton Inn offers discounted rates for your stay.  The prices shown include two tickets to the concert.  You will receive your tickets at check-in with the hotel.  Click the link below to book your stay or call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005 \n \n BUNDLE HOTEL & TICKETS

SUMMARY:Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Hall of Fame’s Woodward Theatre for a special evening of music with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band!  Doors open at 5:00 pm\, concert begins at 6:00 pm.  Bar and concessions available before and during the show. \nWith a refreshed lineup and newfound energy\, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band remains one of the most accomplished bands in American roots music. \nFollowing an extended 50th anniversary tour\, the ensemble grew to a six-piece in 2018 for the first time since their early jug band days. The group now includes Jeff Hanna (acoustic guitar\, electric guitar)\, Jimmie Fadden (drums\, harmonica)\, Bob Carpenter (keyboards)\, Jim Photoglo (bass\, acoustic guitar)\, Ross Holmes (fiddle\, mandolin)\, and Jaime Hanna (electric and acoustic guitar). All six members also sing\, and when their voices merge\, the harmonies add a powerful new component for the legendary band. And with the father-son pairing of Jeff and Jaime Hanna\, the band carries on a country music tradition of blood harmony. \nAt the peak of their country career\, the band toured Europe with Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash\, who hinted that they’d love to appear on a sequel to Will the Circle Be Unbroken\, if the band ever decided to make one. That gesture convinced the band to get back in the studio to record another all-star album. Circle Volume II featured Johnny and June\, as well as Rosanne Cash\, Emmylou Harris\, Levon Helm\, John Hiatt\, Bruce Hornsby\, John Denver\, Ricky Skaggs\, New Grass Revival\, and many other marquee names – not to mention encore performances by Roy Acuff\, Jimmy Martin\, and Earl Scruggs. Released in 1989\, the album won three Grammys and a CMA Award for Album of the Year. \nAs the country music landscape shifted toward a youth market\, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band kept on touring and recording. They played on two projects by The Chieftains\, cut a song with Karla Bonoff for an album dedicated to the 1996 Olympics\, and contributed “Maybe Baby” to a Buddy Holly tribute\, Not Fade Away. Another collaborative album\, Will the Circle Be Unbroken\, Volume III\, arrived in 2003. Soon after\, the band earned an additional Grammy for “Earl’s Breakdown\,” which they recorded with Earl Scruggs\, Randy Scruggs\, Vassar Clements and Jerry Douglas. Meanwhile\, both “Mr. Bojangles” and Will the Circle Be Unbroken were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. \nToday\, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band consists of Jeff Hanna\, Jimmie Fadden\, Bob Carpenter\, for years known as “the new guy\,” and Jim Photoglo\, a friend of the band whose credits include co-writing “Fishin’ in the Dark”\, as well as touring and recording with Carole King\, Dan Fogelberg\, and Vince Gill. Newest members Jaime Hanna and Ross Holmes also bring years of experience to the band. Hanna toured and recorded with The Mavericks and Gary Allan\, while Holmes toured and recorded with Mumford & Sons and Bruce Hornsby. \n \n GET TICKETS\n \n \n \n Play Video\n \n Play Video\n	Bundle Tickets with Discounted Hotel Stay\nLocated next door to the Hall of Fame\, The Hampton Inn & Suites Waterfront is the perfect option for accommodations when joining us for a concert!  Enjoy sweeping riverfront views while staying with our hotel partner.  When you bundle your tickets\, the Hampton Inn offers discounted rates for your stay.  Click the link below to book your stay.  The prices shown include two tickets to the concert.  You will receive your tickets at check-in with the hotel.  Call the Hampton Inn directly at:  270-685-2005 \n \n BUNDLE HOTEL & TICKETS

SUMMARY:Graves Bloodline - FREE CONCERT!
DESCRIPTION:The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum is pleased to debut the show titled Uncle Josh. The production was created to honor Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame member Uncle Josh Graves. Presented as a free concert\, the Hall of Fame offers the event as a way for the local community to experience the new Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum and Woodward Theatre at the new location downtown. However\, space is limited\, so those wishing to attend must secure a free ticket at www.bluegrasshall.org or by visiting the box office at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. Free admission to the exhibit area is also included with each concert ticket. \nAs a pivotal member of Flatt and Scruggs’ Foggy Mountain Boys\, Josh Graves created a place for the Dobro slide guitar.  He truly put the “blues” into bluegrass\, and over the course of many road-tested years re-defined his chosen instrument forever influencing some of the greatest musicians of our day. Uncle Josh is the story of a sideman\, a musical supporting player\, who left the hardscrabble mountains of East Tennessee as a young man with a slide guitar and a hunger to make music. \nThe evening features the band Graves Bloodline\, an amazing group of artists featuring Josh Graves’ son\, Bryan Graves\, as well as his nephew\, award winning Dobro player Tim Graves\, in a show that tells the Josh Graves story and begins a new chapter in the Graves legacy. \nHall of Fame Executive Director Chris Joslin comments\, “This free concert event is a great way for local residents to explore what the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum has to offer.  We focus on preservation and education\, but live music drives everything we do.  The Uncle Josh show is great entertainment\, but it also tells the story of one of the most influential musicians in bluegrass music.  Josh Graves is a member of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and defined the Dobro guitar (slide guitar) in bluegrass music much the same way Earl Scruggs defined the 5-string banjo and Bill Monroe the mandolin. \nWe highlight Josh Graves in several areas within the new exhibit space at The Hall of Fame featuring several of his iconic guitars\, so hosting Graves Bloodline and the show Uncle Josh is an opportunity to truly experience the music behind the exhibits.” \nThis celebration of Josh Graves tells his story through his words\, images and music.  Featuring songs that inspired Graves\, this multi-media program showcases the music he made famous and helps explain who he was and what he might have been thinking and feeling as he evolved from Tennessee mountain boy to Bluegrass Legend. \nDoors open at 5pm\, and the concert begins at 7pm.  Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early and explore the Josh Graves exhibits as well as enjoy live music in the lobby before the show.
