Bluegrass, Bourbon, & Bites

Experience a night out filled with bluegrass and bourbon, paired with food representative of Owensboro, KY! On February 24th join us for the first Bluegrass, Bourbon, & Bites event series, co-hosted by Green River Distilling Co and the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The event premiere will host bites from local barbeque establishments.

Join us on February 24th, from 6pm to 9pm for Bluegrass, Bourbon, & Bites. Tickets cost $80 per person and includes one specialty bourbon cocktail, tastings, access to all experiences throughout the museum, and heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by local restaurants. A cash bar will be available for guests to purchase drinks and cocktails for the duration of the event. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend this experience.

Proceeds to benefit the free instrument loan program offered by the Bluegrass Music Academy. Tickets are on sale now.  Preferred seating is $30, and reserved seating is $25.  Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.   Bar and concessions available.

Join us on March 17, 2023 for The Earls of Leicester at the Hall of Fame. Preferred seating is $48.50, and reserved seating is $38.50.  Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm. Bar and concessions available.

The Great American Bluegrass Jam

The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum is bringing together the best of bluegrass the area has to offer to create a weekend experience for any bluegrass fan. The Great American Bluegrass Jam will take over the Downtown Owensboro area the weekend of March 17-19, 2023.

This event will feature the Kentucky Fried Pickin’ Hotel Jam, the Kentucky State Fiddle Championship, The Earls of Leicester in concert at the Hall of Fame, excursions to both Green River Distilling Co and the Bill Monroe Homeplace in Rosine, KY, and much more in collaboration with downtown businesses.

Join us May 18, 2023 for Sister Sadie, with opening act Kentucky Shine. Tickets are on sale now.  Student tickets are $15, and adult tickets are $20.  Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the concert begins at 7:00 pm. Bar and concessions available.

Open Jams Every Saturday and Sunday

Open Bluegrass Jams take place every Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30.  All skill levels are welcome!  Jam sessions are free and open to the public, and spectators are welcome.  Join us!
