What’s more authentic than learning AT the Hall of Fame? The Lesson program is designed to make bluegrass music more accessible to all who are interested in learning to play an instrument.

For any questions about our education programs, email our Education Director Randy Lanham [email protected].

Thanks to grants from the Micheal E. Horn Family Foundation and the Lester E. Yeager Charitable Trust as well as the generosity of Champion Ford in Owensboro, Kentucky, lessons are offered at a heavily discounted rate to the students.

Loaner Instruments:

We have a limited number of instruments available to loan to students that do not have their own instrument to play.  These are available on a first come/first served basis.  There is a $50 deposit required up front to receive an instrument for classes.  This deposit is refundable once the instrument is returned in good condition.  If the instrument is not returned to the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, the deposit will be forfeited.  The instrument must still be turned in.  If the student wishes to continue learning with the loaner instrument, the student must register for Spring Lessons.  To receive an instrument on loan, be sure to add the $50 deposit when checking out and processing payment.
